Dr. Lee studied accounting and was qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada. She worked as an auditor and business consultant in Canada and Hong Kong, and founded a business consulting firm in 1997 to provide corporate finance advisory services. After graduating from the China Graduate School of Theology in 2006, she served as a minister at the Hong Kong Baptist Church and then went on to study in the UK, focusing on interdisciplinary research in theology and economics.
Dr. Lee is one of the few theologians who can combine theology, economics and entrepreneurial experience. Her passion is to make theology appropriately applicable to the lives of believers, especially in the marketplace and in social culture. This requires us to translate our faith into concrete life-giving qualities through reflection and practice. Theological education is a spiritual formation process in which teachers and students pursue the truth together and struggle to grow together. Theological education not only trains preachers for pastoral ministry, but also equips believers who are sent out into the world so that, despite the difficulties of the marketplace and work, and the challenges of secular values, they can find their place and vocation, live out their calling, and develop the capacity for independent discernment to bear witness to the Lord with a faithful life that influences others.
