簡介

Dr. Annie Pan Yi Jung is Assistant Professor in Practical Studies at the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong. She teaches different courses on Christian Spirituality, Pastoral Theology, and Practical Theology and supervises the research of PhD, DMin, and ThM students. Her research focuses on mysticism, spiritual formation, art and spirituality, as well as women’s holistic growth.

Since 2010 Annie has served as consulting pastor for Hong Kong Mandarin Bible Church. Her pastoral experience includes also a couple of years of campus ministry in Taiwan; six years of pastoral ministry to a Chinese Fellowship in Heidelberg; four years of assistant chaplaincy to seminary students in Hong Kong.

In pursuit of scholarly dialogues and enrichment, Annie actively participates in the international communities of Christian Spirituality and Practical Theology. Since 2015 she has served in the editorial board of Spiritus: A Journal of Christian Spirituality and collaborated in the International Relations ad hoc Committee of The Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality (SSCS), and participated in the director board of SSCS since 2019. Besides, she was invited to be a member of the International Academy of Practical Theology in 2021.

As the columnist in Campus Magazine, Annie published essays on different topics of Christian spirituality for six years. In addition to articles in journals, she has authored four books in Chinese. In 2017, Meditation on Chinese Painting: A Journey through the Book of Exodus was the first Chinese book to integrate 40 Chinese Lingam Style Paintings with meditations on the book of Exodus. In 2018, Pilgrimage of Metropolitan Spirituality was announced as the Winner of Best Awards of Spirituality of the 8th Association Christian Publishers Book Awards. Her 2017 book, Integral Premarital Counseling has been re-published by the Nanjing Theological Seminary in 2019. Annie’s new book, Spiritual Companionship in Life Journey, was published in 2020.
