The purpose of the Student Union is to assist students in becoming part of the CGST family. Through organized and co-sponsored activities, the students are able to come together as a family. There are six divisions in the Student Union:

Internal Affairs:
This is the bridge between the students and CGST, reflecting both students’ concerns and providing them with assistance in familiarizing themselves with the school life.

External Affairs:
Members of the Student Union will attend the monthly prayer meeting of the Theology Students Association. There are lots of other activities, including Global Prayer Day for Theology Students, Theology Students Day, outings, different tournaments and other activities.

Liaison:
Liaise with teachers and students. During the school term, there are different activities such as birthday parties, Mid-Autumn Festival sharing of fresh fruits, and stretching exercises. This is to build and strengthen the atmosphere of the school.

Outreach:
Through seminars, visitation, and other multimedia means, the Student Union makes constant contacts with other organizations. It broadens the scope and involvement with the community at large.

Book Club:
The main function of the Book Club is to assist the students in ordering books, as well as facilitating the buying and selling of second hand books. Through working with the Publishers, we are able to pass on the discounts to the students.

Academia:
The students benefit from different workshops such as the techniques of paper writing, how to avoid copying, and how to use the computer, etc. At the same time, the club also publishes the collection of student’s papers, and guidelines on how to study, etc.
