Partnered with Regent College in Canada, CGST has started its English Summer Courses since 2002. The 5-day intensive courses have been a success and we have a total of 257 students since. It is considered a great opportunity to serve the English speaking community in the Pacific Rim.
In the past few years, besides our professors teaching the courses, we have had overseas professors including the staff from Regent College, including Dr. Rod Wilson - Vice-President, Dr. Gordon Smith - New Testament Professor, Dr. Gordon Fee – Spiritual Theology, Dr. Iain Provan - Professor of Biblical Studies, Dr. Don Lewis - Academic Dean and Professor of Church History, Dr. Christopher Wright – International Director of Langham Foundation, Dr. Thomas W Gillespie – Ex-president of Princeton Theological Seminary, Dr. Donald Gerig – Consultant for Overseas Council International, and Dr. Vinoth Ramachandra – International Fellowship of Evangelical Student's for Dialogue and Social Engagement (Asia).
Every year, we have students from United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan and Macau, and Pastors and church leaders from local English Speaking Churches, as well as our students and alumni.
