Hong Kong Summer School has become a biennial event at the China Graduate School of Theology since 2002. This year marks the fifth time that two theological institutions, Regent College and China Graduate School of Theology (CGST), from two continents will cooperate to offer graduate level courses. Both institutions are transdenominational graduate schools, “committed to theological education that enables the whole people of God for service in all contexts.”
The Regent President, Professor of Counselling and Psychology, Dr. Rod Wilson and the Associate Professor of Mission Studies, Dr. Ross Hastings, will lecture on “Dynamics of Church Leadership” and “The One Priest for the Many: Theological Themes in the Book of Hebrews” respectively. A third course on “Understanding Isaiah - an Exploration on the Spirituality of Exile” will be offered by Dr. Stephen Lee, the Associate Professor of CGST, now residing in Toronto. Adding to such a diverse learning experience, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Hastings will conduct a day conference on “Becoming Persons-in-Relation”.
These courses and conference are designed for church leaders and pastors, missionaries, para-church personnel, seminarians and seminary teachers. We invite you to enjoy a week of spiritual enrichment and reflection at the CGST campus. All courses may be taken for academic credits. The only prerequisite for auditors is proficiency in English.
We look forward to seeing you in June.
